Winter Light

In a time of the year where daylight starts and ends in a wink of an eye
In a world where everything born, dies instantly through our uneven knowledgeable mind
In a place where the sky, though so clear just a minute ago, becomes this clouded space which, filled with heavy rain drops, fall onto our heads like washing away our thoughts to emphasize our own uncertainties
Well I, refuse to let that happen to us, Love
And in a rare moment when, stepping back, you watch life with nothing inside to disturb its beauty and see how it is, showing a bigger picture than you thought it was and meaning to be part of it,
I write these verses,
And I, a man with his own flaws and weaknesses, think of no one else than you, wanting to see you as you are, even if the future is not telling me anything at all, I prefer so and wish to spend my time with you, without all the repression that it could implies,
Until we both know that, like this sun peering through my window pane caressing with its warm hands the wall, it comes to an edge where light fails to appear into our sight and that we really feel nothing in the core of our heart.
